The International Office in cooperation with the IUCM offers for all students, PhD students or guest scientist who are new in Munich:

• German Classes for the perfect start in Munich
• Excursion Program to get a cultural overview 
• Accommodation for March, to find an own place for living for the next year

Information:

• German Class:           March 3rd - 30th, 2020
  Tuition:                      420,00 € 
• Excursion Program:   During the time of the German Class
  Tuition:                      100,00 € (LMU students receive a subsidy amounting to 48 €)
• Accommodation:        March 2nd - 31st, 2020
  Rent (single room):    430,00 €

Booking of accommodation without excursions or German language program is possible. 

You do not have to be a student of a German university. 

Funding: (Please check if your study program offers any subsidy.)

Payment

The payment will need to be transferred to the account of the IUCM. To secure the place you should send the payment before January 31st, 2020.

Note:

Unfortunately we cannot accept credit card payments.

Please make sure to include your name on the money-wire transfer payment. In addition, please note that some banks may charge additional fees for the payment. Please contact your bank in advance if you should have any concerns.

Cancellation:

Cancellation of participation is possible in principle, but subject to the following conditions: For cancellations made not later than 3 weeks prior to the start of the program can be refunded, less 50€ administration fee.
